JOB DESCRIPTION

ChrysaLabs is a fast-growing company with around 40 employees. We are looking for a key Talent & Culture Manager to oversee all human resources processes and policies. We’re looking for a dynamic, motivated individual who wants to evolve in a technological environment with international aspirations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1- Coaching & consulting

– Accompany and support the management team in professional and skills development

– Continuously improve the skills development process (skills matrices, training, etc.)

– Advise and coach managers on best management practices

– Provide strategic human resources recommendations

 

2- Recruitment 

– Continuously improve the recruitment process

– Participate in the entire recruitment process, from sourcing to offer

– Contribute to the development and implementation of a strong employer brand and market it by increasing visibility and bringing social networks to life for recruitment purposes.

– Advise and coach managers on best hiring practices

 

3- Career management

– Support and improve the performance appraisal process

– Develop and deploy talent development programs and training activities

– Support the pay equity process and policy

 

4- Corporate social and cultural relations

– Participate in the organization of internal social activities 

– Develop initiatives to strengthen corporate culture

– Manage the on-boarding and off-boarding process

– Monitor the evolution of relevant indicators on various platforms (OfficeVibe, Folks,..)

 

5- Personnel administration

– Manage payroll in collaboration with the accounting department: collect, analyze and process information relating to all company employees (leave, absences, working hours, bonuses and commissions, etc.).

– Ensure compliance with labor laws, pay equity and skills development activities

– Manage group insurance and pension plans (RVER and FTQ)

– Support the pay equity process and policy

 

6- Health and safety

– Manage and lead health and safety committees

– Ensure follow-up of incident/accident registers

– Ensure implementation of preventive and corrective actions

 

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

– A minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience as a human resources generalist

– Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or industrial relations, or other relevant training 

– Excellent analytical, problem-solving and priority management skills

– Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills

– Attention to detail, integrity and respect for confidentiality

– High degree of autonomy, flexibility, initiative and rigor

– Strong sense of work planning and organization

– Excellent command of French and English (spoken and written)

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

– Knowledge of Employeur D, Nethris or other payroll systems

– Knowledge of human resources information systems (HRIS)

– Experience in a technology startup (asset)
