The team is growing (again!) to accommodate our strong growth! And we are currently looking for an (international) Business Representative who wants to evolve in a young technology company.

SUMMARY POSITION DESCRIPTION

ChrysaLabs is looking for an experienced representative to support its sales and business development department. The person sought will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing new international commercial partnerships linked to the agtech sector and the voluntary carbon market. Working closely with the sales and marketing department, this person will play a key role in the commercial growth of ChrysaLabs in its international expansion.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Prospecting and qualifying business opportunities and new clients:

    a. Development of strategies to connect with multinational companies around the world with an initial focus on the food and beverage industry with scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets.

    b. Actively identifies and evaluates new business opportunities and potential customers. Develops precise qualification criteria to ensure pipeline relevance.

  2. Building a Customer Pipeline: Proactively manages the customer pipeline, ensuring its effectiveness throughout the sales process. Applies a strategic approach to lead management, from first interaction to conversion.
  3. Developing effective strategies in collaboration with the marketing team: Collaborates closely with the marketing team to design and implement targeted strategies. This may include specific marketing campaigns, strategic partnerships, and other initiatives aimed at reaching target customers.
  4. Pipeline Management using Salesforce (CRM): Proactively uses Salesforce to track and analyze customer pipeline. Create detailed reports, track customer interactions and optimize the use of CRM for effective sales management.
  5. Representation of the company to clients and at events: Embody the image of the company during meetings with clients and at events. Communicates persuasively and builds strong relationships to drive business growth and partnership creation.
  6. Ensure good follow-up with current and future partners: Maintains proactive and regular communication with existing partners. Anticipates future needs and collaborates with them to ensure a successful long-term relationship.
  7. Coordination with the sales and marketing department to achieve commercial objectives: Actively participates in coordination meetings with the sales and marketing teams. Provides detailed progress reports to ensure effective synergy and achieve business objectives.
  8. Results Measurement: Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and measure the success of business development initiatives. Adjusts strategies based on results obtained, thus contributing to continuous improvement.
  9. Development of sales materials: Collaborates with the marketing team to develop impactful sales materials, such as presentations, promotional materials, and sales pitches, tailored to the specifics of the target market.
  10. Contractual negotiation: Actively participates in the contractual negotiation phases with new partners, ensuring the satisfaction of both parties and compliance with commercial objectives.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

– University degree in business administration, management, agronomy or any other related program

– 3 to 5 years of experience

– Bilingualism French / English / Spanish (an asset)

– Available for one-off business trips

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

– 5 to 10 years of experience in agriculture

– Experience with a CRM

– Experience in business development in the technology sector (an asset)

– Experience in international business development, particularly with multinational clients

– Autonomy, proactivity, positivism and creativity are sought-after qualities

– Knowledge of agronomy / interest in the environment

– Knowledge of the voluntary carbon market

– Knowledge of the food and beverage industry
