How?

We’ll start by having you take some measurements in your field, collecting soil samples, and sending them to one of our accredited partner laboratories per the protocol below. The lab will analyze your samples and send the results to ChrysaLabs directly.

ChrysaLabs will integrate these results into our database and use them to improve our machine learning models. In the meantime, you can continue to use the probe to analyze your soil.

Why?

The ChrysaLabs probe uses AI technology to convert soil scan information into numerical data. This happens through machine learning algorithms, constantly evolving models created and improved by the ChrysaLabs data science team.

ChrysaLabs works with Ag Industry members across North America and beyond, meaning that our probes collect data for many different soil types. The more information our models have for a certain soil type, the easier it is for the probe to return accurate soil data.

The model training process helps ensure that our probe has enough information to accurately reflect the conditions of your soil.

Continuous Improvement

Due to the nature of machine learning, probe performance can continue to improve even after your initial model training process is completed. We regularly release AI model updates that are automatically pushed to your probe.

By expanding our database and modifying our algorithms, we're constantly allowing the probe to make better and more precise predictions for a larger range of soil types.
